What is the difference between a zetor 7745 turbo and a 6340 turbo , and are these good tractors compared to the non turbo zetors .

7745 turbo was a factory version. 6340 was never sold with turbo, the 7340 was the equivalent of the 7745 turbo.

These tractors are 99% the same. The engines didnt change at all.

7745 turbo had an output of 92hp in the factory version but could easily be adjusted up to 120 hp. 6340 is a newer model of the standard 7745 fitted with the carraro front axle and som changes to the cabin.and yes these are good traktors very good. i have ovned a 7745 myself wich had 5000 hours on it when i sold it it was still going strong.

Not entirely accurate - Zetor sells a Zetor 6340 and a 6340 Turbo bevor they rename the 6340 Turbo to 7340. You can find the 6340 Turbo in the older one manuals listed. ;)

No - it have around 79 hp at PTO. Near by the same as 6340 Turbo and 7340 but the last two have a litle bit more torque.

Not entirely accurate either - the first Zetor 6340 came out with the heavy Zetor front axle and not the Carraro axle. At first the Carraro axle was an option, later (after the facelift in the mid-90s) it was the standard axle.

and som changes to the cabin
Yes, especialy the roof is modernised in both versions of cab (small and the bigger one BK 6245). First with square headlights in the roof, later with rectangular ones.

these are good traktors very good.
Absolutelly. :)

Nice picture of an early model of this series. :)
The "older" roof and the old heavy Zetor front axle... Its a beauty.

Did they ever sell it ? Proxima 5441 was also listed in early brochures but its never been produced.

7341 Super was sold as 84hp here. With the efficiency of the straightforward gearbox, it should have about 76 PTO hp then. But most Zetors spew out a bit more hp when properly broken in. Also, the Dutch importer said "it should NOT come short" so they adjusted them to deliver more than promised.

Again, i have never seen one, neither in brochures nor in real life. I have seen 3340 with the light Zetor axles though..

5441 and 5421 aka 5320/5340 was one of the most senseless models from Zetor . Only 6 hp more then a 43xx makes no sense.
but I didnt know much more about 5320 up to 5341 and his place at the market at this time period

Yes - thats the enging hp. Its a local dealer thing. Zetor himself sells them with 79 hp and Semex to.
Same as by other models like 5011: CZ/DE 45 hp (PTO power) and in france 52 hp (engine power) - more sounds and sells better I think. ;)
