i dont believe it i couldnt find any info if ursus were still going but i jut typed in www.ursus.com and it worked:D they still look like good tractors;)

The UR2 (Unified Range 2) tractors were a joint venture between Zetor (engineering & design) and Ursus (manufacture of heavier components e.g. back axles). The back axle of the Zetor Crystals are stamped Ursus if you look at them. Ursus made them for Zetor in the Iron Curtain days. This was because Zetor used unified production methods where different models used common parts - lean manufacturing in its infancy!

BTW the Ursus C385 is the same as a Zetor Crystal 8011.

There's more in the post "Biiig Zetors".

The C385 looked almost identical to the 8011 Crystal. They had pretty much the same features aswell, I think they were a good tractor.

look at this site! and it says on the left "ursus" by some of the photos it takes you in to a album it looks like the production line:(

I CAN UNDERSTAND URSUS HAVE TROUBBLE WITH THEY TRACTORS IF THIS IS THE FACTORY...

Uzel from Turkey is going to buy Ursus. UR II probally disappear from market.
http://dsas.host.sk/ nice new engines :)

ahh now i understand why uzel will wnat to buy ursus.

at the moment uzel is buying tractors from agco

so if they buy ursus they will be able to build their own tractors with out restrictions of how many tractors they buy from agco every year.
