Yes, I was very lucky. The set was offered on eBay and there was only a very bad, dark photo. But I recognized the wooden box and thought, screw it, I'll give it a try at that price.
It was just luck.
A short time later, a dealer in the Czech Republic offered such a set for 600 euros (even that price would still be OK) and then later for 1,200 euros... but it was apparently sold.
It was similar with the sun blind in the
Zetor 3320 to 7340 with BK 6245 cabin - there was the last one in a shop years ago, it was supposed to cost around 200 euros and people discussed for ages in a forum in the Czech Republic whether you should buy it, the price, etc... but hey, it was a complete set and brand new.
After following the discussion for almost two weeks, I thought - maybe I could adapt it for my Zetor 5011 and so I bought it. After that, the forum got a bit heated, so I stopped following it... and it's still in my warehouse today, well packaged as a reserve for my Zetor 7340.
What I'm trying to say is that bargains come your way. You can only rarely find them when you're looking for them or even when you absolutely need them.
Therefore, if you can afford it, you should always keep an eye and an ear on the Zetor scene and recognize and take advantage of good opportunities. That's how you find bargains.
I will messure it this weekend ...
