Hi

I have to change the sliding gear on the front of the PTO shaft, the one thats connects to the gear from the engine.

I have dismantled the front gearbox cover, and the back cover over the bearings and the segring on the PTO at the end of the PTO.

Can I drag out the PTO or do I have to dismantel anything else it seems stuck.. Thanks for any Help

You can pull it out, but the rear end bering can stick so you need to give it a yank to losen that.

Thanks very much. do I have to replace the rear bearing afterwards ?

My 3011 is now in 2 peaces :D digging in to it..

undo the bearing cap at the shaft end at the back with four M12 bolts, then attach a PTO shaft coupler so you have something to pull on. There might be a Seeger ring at the back as well, cant remember.

Here are the parts that I have to replace to make my PTO work again :) Looking around for them.
