7045 1980 Operators handbook shows the gear change pattern left to right as being:
The top row - Rev, 2nd, 4th
Bottom row - 1st, 3rd, 5th
Which is the pattern same as the 7245 1986 Operators handbook.
But I have seen two 1981 7045s with a different pattern.
The top row - Rev, 3rd, 4th
Bottom row - 1st, 2nd, 5th
Does anyone know what difference there is between the gearboxes, shift mechanisms and gearing. Will the parts book numbers cover both patterns.
