  1. 4341 Super clutch problems

Andy If the design is like the older model tractors (it should be similar) you have a dual acting clutch on a single shaft. the drive clutch pack has a bellvile (conical) spring washer that provides pressure on the clutch plate. these sometimes can crack providing inadequate pressure on the...
  2. 4341 Super clutch problems

im not sure what you mean by cross shaft but the hand clutch should actuate a "shaft" clutch. im assuming this is what your seeing. how is your drive at the PTO? is it also slipping? not sure how much help its gonna be but im sending you a link to the manual for your tractor...
  3. 4341 Super clutch problems

not sure i can help you on your clutch issue but i may be able to provide some insight into the differences in the "super" range of tractor compared to its predecessors. the major differences where an aesthetic/ergonomic overhaul of the cabin and controls. the hydraulic pump was upgraded and the...
  4. New 6341 owner

I dont think you can repair gear style pumps easily. As the teeth wear down they "squeeze" less oil through them. The problem is exacerbated as the oil heats up and becomes thinner. i am not completely familiar with the hydraulic pumps on your model but i imagine it is not a hard job to replace them
  5. question Upgrade from Zetor 7045 to what?

wasnt suggesting that carraro was of bad quality, just that a lot of tractors use them as a supplier, thus costs between different tractor brands of the same category are beginning to equalize due to global component sharing. carraro was just an example of one component...
  6. question Upgrade from Zetor 7045 to what?

Sorry for the late reply i think the UR stands for the platform designation of the tractor: Zetor 75 years - http://www.zetor.com/history UR III being a heavier design than UR II and UR I, i assume.... we currently own a claas tractor, and although it is a good tractor, it has been much more...
  7. question Upgrade from Zetor 7045 to what?

The series of tractors you are referring to was a model that zetor updated the ergonomics of the tractor. they introduced hydrostatic steering (which replaced the assister ram of older designs) relocated the shifter to the side of the operator, cleaned up the instrument cluster and 3ph controls...
  8. Zetor 7211 - hydraulic oil

90 wt oil is originally called for in the transmission/hydraulics but i have used regular tractor fluid (TDH or TCH) and havent had any problems thus far although i would recommend using 90 wt in the portals.
  9. thinking of buying 16045 unsure of condition

if you can get it started in the yard, than it would tell you a lot more about the condition of the machine than just looking it over. if you can, check that it has oil and coolant and try to get it started. check for excessive smoke (under accell it is normal but not at constant speed) run...
  10. Brake sticking 6340

not sure if this would apply for tractors but this was a classic indicator of a collapsed brake line in cars. when you press the foot pedal you are generating a great deal of pressure in the system to push the fluid into the slave cylinder, but this cylinder relies on very little back pressure...
  11. Forterra HSX

hmm not sure bout that... would depend on which model i guess. Traclift was designed with zetor tractors in mind but i guess we'll have to wait and see.
  12. Forterra HSX

ive heard the same. its a shame since the trac lift was a good loader
  13. Forterra HSX

DPF is a problem on a lot of tractors these days...
  14. Rear Lift Will Go up but wont go down

id start by checking the linkage on right side of tractor below floor plate for correct operation. we had the opposite happen, links dropped and wouldnt raise back up and it turned out to be the center bolt had gotten loose in the mechanism that was actuating the hydraulics...
  15. 3 point hitch - drooping

i would think that the hydraulic ram is leaking internally, hence it leaking down. the position sensing mechanism corrects this when it drops out of the correct range which explains why it jumps back up. im not completely sure, but i dont think you have to remove the whole cab only the rear seat...
