    if u are in usa the chevrolet orange-red DE-1607 is about as close as it gets, painted my 5211 front panels with it.

    all bolts tight that were removed to service the brakes, pulled the left side portal/bull gear to inspect, thought the snap ring could have not been seated correctly but it was firmly in place, found nothing wrong so back together it went.

    those pressure's are ok [ 30-60 psi ] where u are loosing pressure when hot is most likely from the camshaft bearings.

    need to pull pump to replace the copper seals, will there be a timing problem if i remove the pump to replace seals and install the pump back ? 5211 3 cyl

    battery fully charged ? have it tested to be 100% sure. does start button have and pass 12 volts when pushed, check it with a volt meter. next in the start circuit is the clutch safety switch, it must see and pass 12 volts when the clutch is fully down.
  7. Fuel delivery problems

    carefull with starting fluid, start at tank, all lines to injection pump must be clear and unrestricted, does the lift pump work ?, are the fuel filters clean and passing fuel to the pump ?

    if the oil is drained from the injection pump it must be replaced before starting the engine, approx 10 oz was needed to quieten the cam and lifters in the pump, glad i was paying attention and caught it before destroying a pump. lack of solid information could very well be the death of this...

    ok, thanks. i guess then that if i drop the unused primer body away from the injection pump and fab a block off plate i will not have to fill the inj pump if oil spills out, correct ?

    maybe ur eyes are fading diy farmer, try adjusting ur screen color, no black on that connector.

    an oil line feeds oil to the injection pump, is that oil drained back to the oil pan thru the air compressor and into the timing gear cover ?

    more like wire color fading i guess, the blue and brown at the top is the + and -, the green and whatever on the bottom is from the sender @ the front of the engine, thats how i have it hooked up now and both the tach and hour meter are working.

    at that 4 wire connector there is no black wire, found out brown is negative and blue was power.

    in need of some help identifying the 4 wires plugged into the tachometer, the yellow and green come from the sender at front of engine. i have stripped the original wiring and gauges from the console, but are keeping the tach since its working, which is the 12v + and 12v - from this picture ...
