I have a 1985 5245 Zetor with a front end loader that will not work very well it's very slow and will not lift high with a loaded bucket. Compared to a Ford loader I have it like working with Molasses in January. Anybody have any suggestions on how to improve the operation. Thanks, Chas.

Check fluid hydraulic fluid level. If it is ok think about when hyd filter was changed. My 2003 6341 was delivered with 85W90 gear oil in the hyd system. I knew that wouldn't work in 0 Degree F weather so I changed it to hyd fluid. That may not apply to yours.
Good luck

Hi

It sounds like you have pump trouble. The only way to be sure is to test the pressure with a gauge. You could try cleaning the coarse filter screwed into the pump plate on the bottom of the rear axle. You don't need to drain the oil to take it out.

What pressure is normal for a 5245 hydraulic system?

I think they all should have at least 160 bar. Sometimes 175
