Had a 6718, 7045, 7211 and an 8011 quite a few years ago, now my son and i have bought this 6911 to get going.
We're in North Yorkshire, UK

Sounds like a good winter project your 6911 (y)
 
We've got her running now, engine was seized due to sitting outside for around 6 years without a can over the exhaust. Took injectors out, wd40 and diesel down the bores, 2hrs of back and forth moving on the flywheel and we got her to turn a full revolution. Started fairly easily after freeing her off. Now brought back home and washed off, ready to get her back working, currently she's not got any brakes, so a full overhaul of them will be one of the jobs.

There should normally be a hole in the exhaust elbow with a cotter pin in it. This design normally prevents water from entering the engine. However, if it rains really badly, a roof over the tractor is still the best solution. ;)

Change all fluids, even the coolant (G11!) will be outdated and will no longer prevent the engine block from rusting.
Water (condensation) in the oils can also be an issue if the tractor has been left outside for a long time.

gearbox, portals, steering gear: SAE 80W-90 API GL3 or 4
hydraulic steering: HLP 32
motor: SAE 15W-40
cooling system: G11 the blue one (not G12 or the red one!)

Repairing the drum brakes is not a big deal, it is well documented and the parts are readily available.
Please take photos of it, I would be happy about it. (y)

Thanks for the information, the hole in the elbow was blocked up 😭.
Yes, we've changed engine oil before we tried starting it, the cooling system had been drained. We'll probably put SAE 15W-40 in the gearbox too as all our other tractors of various makes run that and it saves mixing of oil when using the hydraulic services.
We'll keep taking photos and keep updates going.

A bit more progress with the 6911.
Noticed when doing the brakes and fitting a new oil seal, the diff bearing retaining plate has been fitted with the drain hole not at the bottom, so corrected it. Otherwise a case of changing gaskets, O rings and oil seals.

Joachim, we noticed the other side was empty of oil, then noticed the drainage hole positioning, guessing a Zetor dealer will of had it to bits and put it back wrong, as the farm where it came from they didn't do repairs. We are learning as we go along.
 
Latest update on the 6911, crankshaft has been reground, new oil pump and relief valve. Oil pressure was around the 25 psi mark, now 70 psi. Injectors reconditioned, timing gears were pitted with it being stood with water in the sump, so new gears fitted, compressor piston, new rings fitted. New King pins, bushes bearings etc, new axle pivot pin and bushes. Plenty of new seals and gaskets fitted too and other work too.
