  2. Ursus 912

I gave a man 1500 to do the torque pump , the best part of 10 years ago. There might have been a few small other jobs , but I put a clutch in it myself the year before , so that wasnt part of the expense . 1000 odd for parts , and 500 odd labor . You would need to knock 1500 -2000 off the price...
  3. Ursus 912

It would be a very simple job to get at the PTO pack, removing the hitch is the hardest part , Compared to getting at the torque pump, which involves splitting the tractor in 2 places. Considering the work involved in fixing the torque pump , i think the tractors price may be adjusted downwards.
  4. Zetor 8201.1 (12145) will not move when in gear!

I once had a similar problem on an Ursus 385 , which is the same as an 8011 Zetor. It turned out to be a little drive behind the power steering pump , situated on the right hand side in the bell housing . DIY farmer might explain better. Also a failed torque pump would have similar symptoms, but...
  5. news Zetor re launching Irish market

I dont think the dealers will cry much over the loss of the last importer . A 100 hp had a price increase of 7000 in the first 3 months of their taking on distribution. As you say , Zetor seem to have made great advances , but since since the problems in the factory in the early 00s , a lot of...
  6. Driving techniques

Only saw this now. I never clutch changing up or down, but always rev up or down to match speed ,if that makes any sense. Like a clutch less gear change. Probably be even better to clutch though

  9. 7245 Loader Capacity

There was a Zetor 12045 around here for a good few years , owned by a contracting friend of mine . He fitted a Farmhand F12 loader to it at 1 time , but sold the loader after a couple of years . After another while he fitted a Tanco 1080 loader to it . It had a PTO pump fitted working both. He...

Have you thought about dual wheels , using sh rims/tyres from a similar Zetor Tractor ? Specialised LGP wheels and tyres could easily run into more money than the tractor cost

I rang thAt man with the 5945.he isn't interested in selling it. . He said he put 4 new tyres , reconditioned the engine and had to put a sh front axle in it . So he thinks is he would lose a good bit of money if he were to sell it.

Whose yard was that ? William Shirley ? he gathers up a good few tractors for export. I might know of a 5945 . The owner bought a 6340 about 2 years ago straight out, and still had the other up to 6-12 months ago. He isnt a farmer, a bit like the OP. A bit of turf , odd tractor run, moving odd...
  17. 8145 Spool Valve

Hello all. I have a 92 regd , but I think actually 89 , 8145 with the standard Zetor cab. Also have an Earlier 12145 with a Duncan cab. Recently the 8145 developed a serious oil leak under the floor, oil dripping off the left hand back axle. Discovered the Spool valve handle on the left hand...
  18. 8045 4wd cable

It isn't braised on. Its threaded on. It is usually recommended that you use the original bit, spool I think its called. IE the bit inside the tractor thats screwed onto the end of the cable , as its matched to the unit, There is a little ball inside. Make sure you don't loose that. It wont work...
