    9520/UR3 Hydraulic relief valve

I have a 9520 that I recently purchased, and have been going through it fixing a few issues. I am having some issues with the 3 point and aux. hydraulics. Both will work, but pressure is low. The 3 point will barely lift a 4x4 roll of hay. I have cleaned the inlet screen, and checked the...

    New to me 9520

Had a chance to look into this tractor last night. Ended up having some good luck finally 8). Tractor was about 2 gallons low on hyd fluid. Filled it up, worked with the PTO switch and got it to shut off. That means the pump is good. Powershift lever still wouldn't move. Ended up pulling...

    New to me 9520

I heard if the torque pump is bad, it is quite a job to change, but pump isn't too expensive. I haven't had much chance to look this one over. I was also told that the PTO runs off the same pump, and my PTO is turning. Any one ever change a pump? Does it require a split, or is there a cover...

    New to me 9520

Just added our 3rd Zetor to our fleet, a 9520. Was an auction find, we'll worth the money even if it needs some TLC. I need to go through the book, but seems to have trouble shifting through the 3 ranges. Can't get it out of low. Haven't found the torque multiplier that it is sup posed to have...

    7745 Engine issues

I have a 7745 that we are having a heck of a time with the engine. It seems like it has always ran warm. Water pump went out a the year before last, so replaced the pump, pulled the radiator and had cleaned, new hoses, etc. Last summer it overheated and locked the engine. The bottom rad hose...

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Parts are on order, should be here for me to get it together this weekend. Had to order the ball screw and steering shaft as one unit. Probably better, as I would imagine that it's all worn. Now to get ready to play in the mud getting it fixed. It's outside, and we have 3" of rain coming. :-/

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Tore into the steering box last night, as I lost all steering again. This is the tractor I feed one farm with, so I needed to get it fixed. Looks like the issue is with the ball screw in the steering box. The thread on the steering shaft looks fine, I think its the nut end in the box. I have...

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

It's definitely in the steering box. Steering shaft turns down to the gear box, and nothing after that. Looks like I need to find my manuals, and do some more searching.

    Bolts for 5245 battery box

Got it figured out. They're M10x1.5. Must have got a bad bolt. Tried some different ones and no issues.

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Just a follow up on the issue. It has warmed up some here, so haven't had near the problems lately. However, today I was moving some hay and stacking manure with the 5245, and all of a suden it felt like the steering caught while turning left, and the wheels went hard left. Turning the...

    Bolts for 5245 battery box

No, the holes are open all the way through. The bolts that were in it before were about 40mm long. Guess I'm going to have to track down my parts book, or get a hold of a dealer to find out what size fits.

    Bolts for 5245 battery box

Thought about that, but with the old bolts I could run them all the way in by hand. I didn't think they'd be extra fine M10's, but hadn't had luck with the others.

    Bolts for 5245 battery box

Need the bolt size that holds the battery box closed. I've tried M10 x 1.5 and M10 x 1.25. Both will start, but tighten up. Wondering if it's M10 x 1, but can't find them local. Lost mine in the snow this week when I had to change a battery, and can't locate my parts book at the moment.

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Here lately it sure has been colder than normal. First time about about 20 in about a week. We've had below zero and 8-10 inches of snow for the past month. Makes me not want to come out of the house.

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

I thought the filter was in the tank. The 7745 is usually in the shed. Depends on the 5245. It's the tractor I usually feed with so sometimes it sits out. Doesn't matter if it's in or out though, as the shop is not heated. Same steering issue until it warms up.

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Both tractors probably need the steering filters changed. Where are they located?

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

I've thought about that, and I've thought that maybe the ATF is too thick. Had some issues on the 5245 hydraulics when it was cold, no hydraulics until it warmed up. Thought about flushing the steering system. Any pointers?

    5245 & 7745 cold steering issues

Have been having some issues with both my 5245 and 7745 not steering in cold weather. If below about 32 degrees, the 5245 will only steer right, and will not go left past center. Once the tractor runs for 30-40 minutes and warms up, it is fine. The 7745 is tough to steer any direction. Any...

    Cab for a 5245

As much as I like my 5245, after feeding cattle through this last cold snap, I am definitely considering adding another cab tractor to the equipment roster. My question is, would it be feasible to add a cab to this 5245, and if so, does anyone have any leads on a used or aftermarket cab...

    5245 Hydraulic outlets

I recently purchased a 5245, on which I have mounted a 594 Allied loader. I'm having an issue hooking up my hydraulics. Standing at the back of the tractor, there are 2 outlets side by side, and then a single below. I am not sure which outlets to hook the in and out on my loader spool valve...
