I have an 8540 and would like to know if would pull a mounted four furrow reversable plough. We have heavy country and usually plough about 12 inches deep. I don't have any experience with these types of ploughs and would be interested to hear from anyone that uses them Regards Mike

I have an 8540 and have recently put a new Tierre mulcher behind it. It works beautifully but I'm having difficulty engaging the PTO. On engaging the switch on the dash the mulcher nearly stalls the tractor until the mulcher gets up speed. Is there a way of avioding this situation? Can you...

I've just bought a 2 metre heavey duty mulcher. It doesn't have any slip clutch on it. The machinery bloke said that belts would slip before a break on the tractor gear box. I'm thinking of fitting a slip clutch to the pto shaft. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this matter...
