Hi Zetor Folks My 6245 3PTH arms when carrying a load start to drop down , then kick back up. Seems to be getting worse. I assume I have some leaking o rings or seals. Anyone familiar with doing a fix for this. Do I have to pull the whole CAB off? I imagine I need to pull the lift arms and...

What oil for Zetor 6245 transmission?

HI What do most owners use for oil in the transmission / hydraulic system? I'm about to change my oil. I've been using Universal Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission oil, but I notice my manual ( 6245 ) says to use 80/90 weight gear oil?? Thanks

    Valve adjustment

Hello What is the easiest way to adjust the valve tappets on my Zetor 6245. I've never done it on a dielsel. They've gotten quite noisy and are probbably way out of spec. Is it possible to do with the engine ticking over, or would that cause an oily mess? Thanks 8)

Hi Lo Range Lever on a 6245

Thanks Managed to pull off the transmission cover without removing the cab or splitting the tractor by doing some cutting , grinding and by taking a flex joint out of the steering column. Found the problem to be that the shifting dog that moves the rail had sheared off where it was welded to...
