Zetor 7211
Hi All,

i recently changed from a 6718 to a 7211 (which needs a little tidying up) and have the following issue:

the rear linkage arms will lift smoothly and quickly when any weight on the arms ( will work as low as bale spike of 50kg), but when no load on the arms will lift very slowly and takes about 2 minutes to fully lift.

the hydraulic oil is milky which isn't helping much and will be replaced very soon, but was wondering if there is something more to this and any suggestions would be welcome.

Not sure if the milky oil has something to do with it, but you never know. It never hurts to check the filters as well.
Did you try different settings on the "reaction rate lever" and the "hydraulic power-lift pre-selector" next to the power-lift lever?

Just open both screws: one in the middle under gear box and the other one at deepest point near by the hydraulic pump.
And dont forget the rear end portals, there are also araound 2x 1,5 litre gear box oil inside. :)

Have changed oil and seemed to be fine, left for a week and now hydraulics aren't operating at all, i assume this could be an air-locked pump but would like to know if there are other possible causes and am unsure how best to sort

ignore this post - have got action again - reversed up a ramp and engaged pto - hydraulics now work again

How tight is the rollpin connecting the pto lever to its shaft ? When they get sloppy you often get lost in the gear positions.

Replace with new rollpin filled with another rollpin, or simply tap a 3 inch nail in it, thats about the right diameter
