Zetor 5245 rear transmission leak

I have just purchased a Zetor 5245 in neglected condition, at the front of the transmission drain plug there are open 2 holes left and right towards the front of the drain plug, the right one has some oil dripping out of it, what purpose are these holes, and is it normal to lose some oil from there, would it possible for these 2 holes to be the transmission breathers
