do you have take a look at this:
There are some posible positions for seriel numbers described.
Joachim, i've been looking for the engine and vin numbers, I can find the front bottom left number on the engine (first picture) front top left engine number,(second picture) but there's no numbers on the gearbox/differential joint. But there's a number stamped on the front casting that supports the axle near the radiator drain tap, could this be it's vin number ? (3rd picture) If it is, would you have any idea as to it's year, been told it's 1958, many thanks if you can assist.

This Zetor 25A should be from middle of 1958, if the number on pic one is correct. I think thats the serial chassis number. (y)

Second picture is a little bit creepy. ;)

Third picture number is one number to long to be a serial number I think.

Joachim, thanks for the reply with the information, hopefully it'll help it to get a UK registration number, thanks again.
