Hello all,

I am new to the site and I am currently looking at purchasing a used 2000 Zetor 4341 4X4 with FEL and 2 rear remotes. It is a one owner tractor and has 312 hours on it. It was used by an older gentleman who traded it in for a cab model due to health reasons. It really looks to be in like new condition. I have only seen it through pics as it is several hours away and I will be having is shipped in if purchased. It looks to be stout tractor perfect for my 72 acre hobby farm. I cannot find a used tractor guide and would like to know what a fair price would be for this tractor. Also would it have any problem pulling a medium duty 8' brush hog? Thanks for any advice or comments.

"Stout"... I like it. "Stout" may be an understatement! I have a 3340 which is the little brother to the 4341 and I use it mostly for haying, both small square and large round bales. I wanted something that wouldn't get pushed around by my round baler and this machine is it!

You'll have no problem pulling that brush hog.

A fair price? There are a lot of factors that go into that. I wouldn't know what to tell you. According to TractorData.com, the 4341 sold new for $27000. Here's the url to TractorData... http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/index.html

Good luck with your decision.

hi
I seen a 1999 zetor 4341 in devon sold for 9500 sterling with 942 hours on clock.

Thanks for the comments guys.

BigDoug - your comments are very encouraging. I have never seen this model tractor in person, but it certainly looks to be a beast. I hope to talk to the dealer again tomorrow and possibly make an offer. They are asking 16,000 USD. My budget is a little lower than that, so I'll most likely make an offer tomorrow and see what happens. I have never purchased a tractor before, my current tractor belonged to my father, I am just worried about overpaying. If I get it within my budget and it performs as good as it looks I will be one happy guy.
