Today without warning, the low air pressure warning light came on. I have checked the cables to the pressure sensor, they are fine, signal cable not damaged or broken. It's getting an earth via wire [2 wire version]
Note : If I disconnect the signal wire from the pin on the pressure sensor, light goes off.
Does this point to sensor itself or any ideas for me.
First - based on your posts at zetor-forum.de do you have checked the gauge? Simply make a wire betwen signal and ground (-) and look if the gauge goes with ground to maximum and without to null. If so - the gauge is OK.
After that, as I wrote - make a test wire from signal at gauge to the sensor signal pin and look what happens.
