hello Hello - Im just purchased a 1998 Zetor 6340

I joined this forum to help me troubleshoot and upkeep my Zetor in best running condition with all the available knowledge that is found on this cite !!!

Hello and welcome Mattm (curios name).

1997 and 1998 are good production years for this model, a very well-developed machine.
Does it have the hydraulic pump on the left side of the engine or at the back under the differential?
What are you going to do with the tractor?

That loader you have looks heavy especially at the crown. They seem to be common loader fitted to Zetors in American area.

Hello Matthew is the real name
The pump is on the left side of the engine i believe !!
I live on 150 acres of land wich 60 acres is farm land, i want to maintaine my hay fields for now so it does not go into overgrowth and eventually sell the hay,
then since i live in northern quebec we get tons of snow so will be using it for that also !!!

Yeah i noticed compared to other tractors even at 9500hrs there is'nt a single crack on the loader!!!

Looks a lot like my 1999 3340. Good looking tractor.
