Cylinder liner removal

Back again with a problem, finding it near impossible to get the cylinder liners out of 3511 engine. Has anyone out there some ideas please, maybe some tips , thanks folks
 
use a threaded rod to pull them out, with a cross bar. You can suspend your mechanism to head studs.
 
yes you can do it like renze says thats probobaly the most common way! be sure to use strong enough components makes it much easier. getting the liners back in is much easier than removing them. when your puller is pulling and they wont come out shock the liner with a hammer just dont damage the block!
