5718 clutch fingers

Hello, can someone tell me what the correct adjustment is for the clutch fingers, would i be right in thinking the six fingers should all have a clearance of 25mm ???
I can not change gears smoothly, it tears as i put it into gear.
Any help would be appreciated.
