  1. Need help with 7745 gearbox

Also, is there any type of cover or access plate I can take off and look in there first? I hate to take all that stuff off and it not be the problem. Thanks and Happy New Year to all!
  2. Need help with 7745 gearbox

Ok, thanks Renze. I'm assuming I have to take the cab off to do this?
  3. Zetor 7745 clutch issues

Not sure if you have fixed this yet or not but I had a similar problem with ours. I had to drain the brake fluid and replace it with hydraulic fluid. It works fine now until it gets really cold(10F) and then it still works but is hard to push. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons I should not...
  4. Need help with 7745 gearbox

Hello all and Merry Christmas! I have a 7745 that the pto and hydraulics just stopped working all at once. I took the gearbox cover off and it appears all the forks are ok. I did notice that the gear in the first section of the box will move back and forth about 16-20mm and this seems...
  5. NEED ADVICE ON 7745 TRANSMISSION

Hello all, I have a 7745 that the pto and hydraulics have stopped working. From what I've read here, and already tried, my next step is to pull the top trans cover. Is there a certain process for this? Shift levers need to be in a certain position or anything like that that I should know...
  6. 7745 NO HYDRAULICS PROBLEM

Sorry for the late update but this was the screen in the sump was plugged with gunk. Thanks for the help.
  7. 7745 NO HYDRAULICS PROBLEM

Yes, I did check those. Even tried putting it in 1000rpm side, but still nothing. Normally, you can hear it whining(probably the relief valve, but not sure) but now I can only hear it a little bit when I raise the lever for the 3pt arms.
  8. 7745 NO HYDRAULICS PROBLEM

    No, its not milky.
  9. 7745 NO HYDRAULICS PROBLEM

I have a 7745 that the hydraulics stopped working on. I have always used the 80/90wt oil in it and had no problems even in cold weather. Nite before last I checked it and was a little low so I added a gallon. Next morning(20 deg F) and now no hydraulics at all. This is very thick oil for this...
  10. Need 7745 mph or km/h chart

I was getting ready to use my 7745 to spread fertilizer this morning and when figuring the settings found that it does not have a mph or km/h chart in it. Does anyone have one they could share with me? Any help is greatly appreciated. P.S. - I am in the US, dont know if that makes any differece...
  11. info GREEN opportunity for Zetor

I have been running about 20%WVO (filtered only) with tractor diesel in my 7745. Summertime only though. I'm sure there is probably some reason that you need to go through the washing steps, but at this low mixture, it seems to be working OK. I do not recommend using it in a tractor that you are...
  12. Slave Clylinder Part # for a 7745

If its 4wd, my book says no toe in, should be straight.

  14. Need Help Checking 7745 front axle fluids?

Thank you forterra for the great advice. It is very much appreciated.
  15. Need Help Checking 7745 front axle fluids?

I have a 7745 and am trying to figure out how to check the fluid level for the front axle gear box as well as the planetary drives. I have found the plugs on the planetary drives but am not sure what position they are to be in when checking the fluid. I also found two plugs on the axle housing...
  16. Adding a Thermostart

I am thinking about adding a thermostart unit to my 7745 and was wondering if anyone else had done this before. I am not sure how to get fuel to this and if it has to be pressurized, etc. I thought maybe there was somewhere I could tap into the injection pump ? Any ideas would be great...
  17. 7745 4wd engaged ?

Can you tell me if the 4wd stays engaged in high range on my 7745 or only in low range ? It has the 5 x 2 gearbox. See my last post on noisy transmission. Thanks, juney
  18. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks guys ! Sounds like the air tank would be more trouble than its worth. I need to try it at the higher rpm's as it was just a little above idle when i tried it before. Another question for ya - Yesterday I was putting out a round bale and when I tried to go up on the pile in 6th gear (mine...
  19. 7745 with noisy transmission

I had tried pumping up a tire with it just to see how it worked and it seemed very slow. So I was thinking that if I had a air tank to hold a reserve amount in, then when I needed to pump a tire or blow something out I would have a supply. Maybe this is not a good idea. This is the first tractor...
  20. 7745 with noisy transmission

What psi or bar should this relief valve be set at ?
  21. Dodgy electrics in a 5211

It ended up being the fuses. I had not checked the top box, did not realize this was also a fuse box. For some reason though, the relays sounded like to me they were clicking/pulling in before I changed the fuses. Thanks. juney
  22. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks guys, I checked and mine does not have a air tank. If I just added one would I have to put some type of pressure relief valve on it ? On the cab fans, it turned out to be the fuses. I had only checked the fuses in the lower box. Mine has the fiberglass roof. Do you need to oil these...
  23. Dodgy electrics in a 5211

I'm having the same problem with my 7745. I tried spinning the fans, did not work. There is some type of switch/sensor/relay,etc right beside the fan(not the main relay at the edge) that the wires go to just before going to the fan. What is this ? Thanks, juney
  24. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks guys ! Your expertise is greatly appreciated. Although it provoked more questions. About the air tank, I would like to add this. Any recommendations about size, location, plumbing, relief valves, etc would be helpful. Maybe even a picture. On the hyd pump causing the noise, I had it in all...
  25. Alternator charge light not working?

I had the same problem on my 7745 and it was just the wire had fallen off at the light socket. Could also be the bulb. juney
  26. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks Dave, That worked. I'm assuming that #8 is a spare as mine has nothing connected to it. I think I'm going to go ahead and try to use it some before I tear it apart to check the bearings. Really cold here right now. Is there any type of glow plugs or pre heater or cold weather starting...
  27. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks Dave, I've got a couple more questions. For the clutch throw out bearing, it says lubricate every 200hrs(i think). Do you just use engine oil here and how much ? Also, the pto lever on the left side of the seat says something like 5 min/max on it. What does this mean ? Is there a fuse...
  28. 7745 with noisy transmission

I also wanted to ask about the centrifugal oil filter. This is my first experience with these. I took it apart and cleaned the black grime off the inside wall. I'm assuming this is what you are supposed to do ? I still don't fully understand how it works though. ??? juney
  29. 7745 with noisy transmission

Thanks for the info Dave. I'm in VA, USA. juney
  30. 7745 with noisy transmission

Ok, thanks again. I think what 4911 is saying may be what it is. I was thinking something like this myself, as I know alot of transmissions(maybe all) are direct in high gear. I never thought of the synchroniser aspect though, this also makes sense. I assuming 4911, that I have to pull the...
