    Renze, i'll stick to 2nd gear for lifting etc as that will do me fine so no overheating the oil/pump for me ;) I'm planning the top off for the piston seal replacement asap then put it to work - maybe i will have to dig out the zetor mower too :D

    Hi, my general experience (and we have a super major and three zetors) is that you will be impressed with the zetor on the pto over the major - and in many other ways too, the gearing is so much better suited and i'm sure youi'll find it'll out do the old ford hands down ;).
