    The oil is coming from between two pieces of metal..I think where the hydraulic pump is bolted to the gearbox. Thanks for the quick replies but any ideas on a quick fix?

    Your probably best off geting it reconditioned. But i think zetor starter motors are fairly universal. Id nearly swear a 3511 starter would do the job.. ;)

    What was the mechanism for the lever when it was new? I doubt zetor had baling twine in mind when they built it ;D

    Try the decompression lever just above the water pump when it fires let go of the lever simple hope this helps ;)

    Removed the cable from the back of the tach its not turning... Took the whole lot out and spun the bit that conects to the engine it turns to about 2 thirds of the way up. So the cable is obviously broken somewhere along the way Is this repairable. Or could you point me into where to get parts...
