I understand I can get pressure from the outlet on the pump plate under the rear axle and put a return line into the plug hole in the bottom of the transmission.     This question is related to my reverser troubles. How much play up and down, side to side is acceptable (normal) on the input shaft? I don't see any evident problems with bearing(s) or wear other than the bronze washer(s) discussed in the other thread. Play seems excessive though.
