    no second gear situation is on hold for the present, this tractor had sat without exhaust cap for aprox. 4 years. #2 not hitting, swapped injectors with #1, problem strayed with #2. I am guessing valve stuck open? Have couple small tasks for it, then open it up and have a look. Any suggestions...

    help! I have a 16145 that wont stay in second, as soon as u let out the clutch it jumps out, stays in with reverse on level ground. I am going tomorrow to get one that came out of an 8011. what potential problems can come from this. is this a reliable gearbox?

    i have a 16145 that wont engage second gear. since i have to pull it anyway and it is only a three speed, can i swap in a four speed from a smaller tractor? i will not be stressing it at all since a 90 horse tractor will do what this tractor will be doing, i just got a deal on this one;). thanks
