    Hi I have just changed the perished fuel pipes on my 7045, I started bleeding the system and got the bleed screw above the fuel filters ok, but I cannot see a bleed screw on the fuel pump? Does it have one or do i go straight to bleeding the injector pipes? thanks!

    ok removed the wire but it still kept turning over, so put my old solenoid in as I thought it would be ok as I had to renew battery. But the original problem came back with the clicking. So I am going back out to replace the solenid with the new one. Any other ideas of what is wrong with this thing.

    the battery is fully loaded and the clutch is all the way in, so I guess it is either the clutch switch or the solenoid. I will try you suggestion later when I get home and see if I can bypass the clutch switch.

    Does anyone know why my 1982 7045 won't start? When I press the start button all I get is a large click sound as if a contact is made then broken immediately. I can't really find where the click is coming from but I fear it may be the solenoid? Anyone have any suggestions what to check?

    I plugged in the engine heater to see if it works and try help it start, but it's killed it. There is nothing from the key when you put them in, nothing no lights etc. The fuses are all ok. Any ideas?

    This was very easy to fix, 20 mins to get the floor out and 30 scents for two high tensile strength bolts to hold the levers in place. 10 mins to build back up. It would be good if we could add pictures to this forum. :p

    weird thing is when I push the lever forward until it touches the end of the slot, I can hear the gear starting to crunch but it can't go any further forward to engage. These tractors seem to break really easily.

    It is working now. Was my own fault I had not engaged it correctly with the lever. All running well now and did a few hours work with her today!:) Makes my old Ford 4000 that I traded for it seem like something from the stone age:) thanks for the info!!!

    there does not seem to be one in the cab/dashboard that I can see, there is the black start button just under where the keys go in but that is all I can find. Is there some place I am not looking? or ?

    The pedal sticking for turning the engine off was spot on! But the starting is still a mess. It takes so long to start. The other thing is that the 4wd does not engage. I have got stuck a few times now. Even with the lever in place the front does not move. Any ideas on whats wrong?

    thanks it worked but had to kick the lever into place so I guess it must be worn. The same thing seems to be with the 4wd selector and the lever for switching the high and low gears they won't go into place. I need to get them checked.
