    It is the rear wheels one side the outside seal is leaking and on the other its leaking a bit out the inspection whole underneath

    They just slide out of the diff in one peice ok once you have undone all the housing bolts ? The tractor has been going well for me hydraulics and engine been running great now just finding a few leaks now im starting to use it more . Thanks for your assistance diy farmer

    Thanks diy farmer the info was good. To fix it properly you do have to remove the steering box but i managed to remove the nut and put an O ring and grey selastic under the the nut it has stopped the leak for now for good i hope . I sent you an email with a photo can you tell the year of the...

    Yes its out the top around the tabed nut directly under radiator can i pull all that apart while box is in tractor ? I will try with it in first ? Is it a special seal in there i have to get ?     No i havent looked at the 4wd yet ive been busy havent worked on the tractor much lately . Now my next problem is the steering box leaking out the thread on top from the sector shaft how is best to fix that is there a seal in that or just the thread tension to stop oil leaking from there ?

    I finally got the hydraulics work thanks for your info i ended up pulling the pump off testing it and the drive replaced o rings and checked cartridge filter replaced that o ring as it was leaking filled all galleries with oil and filled with new oil 50 something litres and its working good ...

    I only got 18 litres out of the gearbox i guess that could be why its not working ill get some more oil next week and fill it with 52 litres .

    84a-200 how do you tell the year ? The steering felt ok to me seemed light but i have only driven it out of the shed ! How much oil does the gearbox hold ? Im going to take the pump out and inspect it . Any tricks or things i should be aware of taking the hydraulic pump off ?

    Not sure if 4wd is working cable seized that operates it i think the one on the left that goes down to the valve. How is best to check it ? Does that cable valve thing have to engage it ? The brakes seem to work i rekitted both the master cylenders they were leaking .

    It is looking that way the pressure line sraight out of pump i removed and it had nothing . Can you remove the pump out the side cover or do you have to stlit or remove something to get to it i might pull it out and have a look through it if it is not to hard to remove ?     Thanks pto working once i put it in either high or low feel a bit silly about yhat one . Still dont seem to have hydraulic pressure. removed pressure line comes out L/H side next to lever and goes to front end loader controls has no pressure a bit of oil not pumping not even air pulled cartridge...

    I have also found the pto will not turn either . Is that driven the same as the hydraulic pump ? Does the hand brake on the right hand side have anything to do with it ? the small lever at my right foot seems to clunk/grind so something is moving in there either way it doesnt seem to spin...

    Thanks for reply how is best to check the lift pump . Yes the steering box under the radiator it leaking out the top of sector shaft seal . There was no noise couldnt hear anything trying to work the lever on the left hand side of gearbox is all the way forward
