    4514 is correct having a massey style bonnet, it was a mf licence made by ursus, the ursus 490 did exist too which also looks like a massey, so maybe it is a 490 and had its bonnet swapped??

    Not familiar with this model, older ones like 6045 7045 were hard to start but pumping the hand primer on the lift pump for 30 seconds before trying to start them helped alot. give it a go, and let us know.

    as far as i am aware all the blocks were the same. just the internal diamter of the liner was bigger along with a bigger piston. you found a block yet?

    get your sump off the engine. fill teh water jacket with boiling water with a blue coloured die in it. and with the sump being off youll see where it will be coming from. may be around the liners or worst case a crack. matt

    chances are shell be fine with the chipped gear. i know its not ideal but itll be fine. as for the circlip gonna be a hell of a job to stretch one around the lay shaft! how big a circlip isit? not much of a job to split it and go in from the front if you have a good mechanical mind matt

    check the fluid level in the fluid bot of the master cylinder? sounds like there i snone in there, question is where has it gone. can you see any signs of leakage around the slave cylinder? or is it not external. never done anything on a 6341 matt
