    I have similar problem, however block was welded before and had become brittle. The frost damaged it again and a small square section of the block burst completely.     I done seals and oil ring in lift ram and replaced the two o rings on the main supply pipe. When i lift arms, they raise but start jerking up and down an inch or two very fast and wont stop. Any ideas as to the problem, thanks

    would i remove the 3 studs of the compressor housing and move the cogs a couple of notches either way or check the guage marks on the flywheel ?, If she is short of compression how could i rectify that ? , Thanks

    I am finding it near impossible to start the 4911, i use the easy start and it clicks in ok, but does not seem to help the engine start. I keep cranking it on the button and when she does eventually fire up, there is a hell of alot of white smoke from the exhaust. Any ideas as to the problem, thks
