    Thanks Mike and Alan. I am sure the assembly is correct but I will double check to make sure. Secondly I will split the tractor and check for correct pressure plate adjustment, this is what I think the problem is. Thanks again for your help and I will update you after this next weekend.:D

    Thanks for the reply. Yes everything was correctly assembled it is just the adjustment of the pressure plate I am unsure of. All external clutch adjustment is straight forward but if the pressure plate is incorrectly adjusted, which I believe it is, then we are going nowhere fast.:'(
