  1. offer Spare Parts

What are the vintage tractors ? I might be interested in Crystal parts . I cant seem to send you a pm though. I think I am within 25 miles of you .
  2. question Ursus 912 - PTO trouble

I gave a man 1500 to do the torque pump , the best part of 10 years ago. There might have been a few small other jobs , but I put a clutch in it myself the year before , so that wasnt part of the expense . 1000 odd for parts , and 500 odd labor . You would need to knock 1500 -2000 off the price...
  3. question Ursus 912 - PTO trouble

It would be a very simple job to get at the PTO pack, removing the hitch is the hardest part , Compared to getting at the torque pump, which involves splitting the tractor in 2 places. Considering the work involved in fixing the torque pump , i think the tractors price may be adjusted downwards.
  4. question Zetor 8201.1 (Zetor 12145) will not move when in gear!

I once had a similar problem on an Ursus 385 , which is the same as an 8011 Zetor. It turned out to be a little drive behind the power steering pump , situated on the right hand side in the bell housing . DIY farmer might explain better. Also a failed torque pump would have similar symptoms, but...
  5. news Zetor re launching Irish market

I dont think the dealers will cry much over the loss of the last importer . A 100 hp had a price increase of 7000 in the first 3 months of their taking on distribution. As you say , Zetor seem to have made great advances , but since since the problems in the factory in the early 00s , a lot of...
  6. Driving techniques

Only saw this now. I never clutch changing up or down, but always rev up or down to match speed ,if that makes any sense. Like a clutch less gear change. Probably be even better to clutch though

    news Crystal HD this autumn

Dealer relationships with that importer left an awful lot to be desired. Prices went mad in their time. What happens to Zetor in Ireland now ?

  9. question Zetor 7245 Loader Capacity?

He bought the 1080 in a Bord Na Mona auction for 500. It came off a Fiat F140 , and a neighbour fitted it to the Zetor in a day. The boom should split in the middle , but this on was welded solid. couldnt be taken off. It came with no attachments.
  10. question Zetor 7245 Loader Capacity?

There was a Zetor 12045 around here for a good few years , owned by a contracting friend of mine . He fitted a Farmhand F12 loader to it at 1 time , but sold the loader after a couple of years . After another while he fitted a Tanco 1080 loader to it . It had a PTO pump fitted working both. He...
  11. flotation tyres......

Have you thought about dual wheels , using sh rims/tyres from a similar Zetor Tractor ? Specialised LGP wheels and tyres could easily run into more money than the tractor cost
