    Thanks for the input so far. As far as I can tell the clutch is mechanical, not Hydrolic. I just got back out to it, and when the clutch is depressed all seems to be working OK but a lever in the housing has a split in it. Would the "Buttress" be the lever (x2) that connect to the clutch plates...
