  3. new tractor

I was in the same situation. Had a Ford 4000 and although it could pull the trailer on the road, it barely managed if it was slippy or through a field. I managed to trade my 4000 for a Zetor 7045. It's 4wd and about 65 Hp. Plenty of power for moving my tralier full of manure. The cab is large...

ok removed the wire but it still kept turning over, so put my old solenoid in as I thought it would be ok as I had to renew battery. But the original problem came back with the clicking. 10. Starting problem.

the battery is fully loaded and the clutch is all the way in, so I guess it is either the clutch switch or the solenoid. I will try you suggestion later when I get home and see if I can bypass the clutch switch.
  11. Starting problem.

Does anyone know why my 1982 7045 won't start? When I press the start button all I get is a large click sound as if a contact is made then broken immediately. I can't really find where the click is coming from but I fear it may be the solenoid? Anyone have any suggestions what to check?

  13. Engine Heater seems to have killed the electrics.

ok it was not the core plug heater that caused it but there seems to be something with the ignition lock in my 82 7045. I think the key barrel is faulty or sticking as sometimes it makes the contact and then it does not. Leave it for a while and then the lights come on and it works again. Its...

  15. Hydraulic power lift lever and road speed selector levers. 7045.

This was very easy to fix, 20 mins to get the floor out and 30 scents for two high tensile strength bolts to hold the levers in place. 10 mins to build back up. It would be good if we could add pictures to this forum. :p
