  1. Cab to suit 8045 Australia

The earlier tractors had a Gason cab, built in Ararat but the later tractors 8145 had different cabs. I thought Czech built. They have Zetor written in large letters along the top. The Gason cab is a proper safety cab tested to Aust specifications. I doubt if they supply parts. I think there are...
  2. 8011 rear tyres

Have you got the heavy cast centres?
  3. 8011 rear tyres

My 12045 has 23.1/18 x 34's. Used to be the standard tyre for big tractors in Australia. Made by Olympic. Now Olympic is closed. The tyre moulds were sold to Goodyear India. That's the tyres I bought, over $2000 and hard to get. The Aust. pamphlet says the 8011 had 18.4/15 x 34. I don't know if...
  4. local irish vintage tractor run recent photos

Looks like a line up at a field days in the 1970's. You've done a great job with them. The roll frames are different to the ones in Australia. Were they a standard fitting in Ireland?
  5. Replacement Injection pump for a 6718

What country? New pumps are available in Australia and people have them reconditioned as well. Neither is cheap.
  6. magazine photoshoot of our zetor collection

Beautiful. You have done a superb job.
  7. zetor toolkit for the older tractors ???

A great toolkit. Got one with the 6745. As well as jack, spanners, tyre irons, air hose, screw drivers and grease gun there were specialist little tools for servicing the injectors and a plastic box with spare globes. Still got quite a lot of mine.
  8. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

If it's the air pressure gauge it's for towing trailers with air brakes. I think they're only connected if it's got an air tank.
  9. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

You know I don't know. Perhaps alternator warning light. The dash on mine is different to the one in my handbook. The handbrake had a light. They always go off and it's never arisen. My tractor is 1980, yours is a later model. The date is on the makers plates, one for the factory and the other...
  10. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

Mine's getting that way too. There's a new one on ebay.
  11. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

Well done. For lights you rotate the key. There are three positions. When the tractor is parked always pull the key up into a power off position. Also check the front hubs have oil. Checked from the outside of the rim. Large drain plug, small check plug.
  12. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

Mine has a power socket but I don't know if it's aftermarket. The 4WD knob is only small.
  13. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

My fuel distributor is Shell so I just use what they've got listed. You don't need any fancy oils, they just specify 80 for the transmission and 20W30 for the engine. The centrifugal oil filter is brilliant. If you drive it home make sure it's in 2WD. The 12045 has a funny little knob almost...
  14. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

Just on the Gason safety cab. They were made in Ararat. To test them for certification, they had a concrete block on a chain. Every cab had to be tested on the tractor it was built for. First test, they just dropped the block onto the roof from a certain height. Second test, they pulled the...
  15. Urgent! Zetor 12145 questions-Australia

Torque amplifier works well. You can shift under load. Before I bought mine I did a bit of research on the net and it is considered solid, well designed and superior to a lot of other makes like the MF multipower. The other thing is the economy. The manual says 5 to 6 litres per hour in general...
