    Why would they be air cooled ? Only Slavia milled down the crankcase of a Zetor block to bolt air cooled cylinders to it, Zetor never built air cooled engines themself.

    You dont shift 1000rpm with the lever under the seat, it gets you from independent to groundspeed. You shift 1000 by taking off the 7 splined stub and sticking it into the side of the gearbox where the 21 splined stub is stored.

    I think Gason cab was standard in Australia. Duncan in the UK. Hara on older models in scandinavia. Zetor itself used cabs from two factories on the smaller models but the crystal only one at a time. The 2 series had a different cab. Dont know about australia though.

    Its possible but nmaybe not worth it. It involves changeing the layshaft gears (one gear might be hobbed on the layshaft itself so that involves a full shaft) and then putting a new set of 4th speed gears in it. You better find a used 40k box, less work.
