The diff lock should disengage by itself when you are through the slippery patch and you get proper grip.You may have to steer to the left and right to release the load on the diff or stop and reverse if this fails.

What about spraying a mist of water over the surface of the intercooler like the Subaru Rally cars.It could be made to only spray when the temperature reaches a certain point.

They are supposed to be ideal for proper manure rather than slurry.In the UK they have a bit of a following for spreading poultry manure.I have never seen a good one though-all the ones I have seen have been old rusty ones so I should think a good one will be pretty expensive.
