Hi All,
My old 8011 was working well and lifting arms worked perfectly in June. I hitched up a small tipping trailer and used it for a few days in June. Zetror has stood since with trailer connected.
I started it yesterday and tipper worked fine on the quadrant. I tried to drop the hitch...
She turns over at the correct speed though which is why I hoped fuel pump issues :) Comnpression sounds like . Anyone know compression range a standard 80112 should have?
Thanks
Don
Thanks - she started on a tow when she arrived. I have 2 HD batteries in her and she seems to turn over fine OK....
I have another starter I can borrow - I'll try that next. Last owner said she was a pig to start. He thought it might be glazed bores :( Sure hope not
Thanks for the reply
I read a comment on some forum that Zetor 8011 brakes could be fixed with Ford parts. If true, do you think they were they talking about slave and master cylinders or the dry clutch too?
Has anyone converted an 8011 to use 2 line air brakes? One of my 8011's has a compressor and air tank...
To answer my own question, they are on the left side gearbox casting under cab. Stand in front of rear left wheel and look under the cab at the gearbox. The numbers are clearly visible on the casting. If they are not, maybe she needs a powerwash :)
My 8011 will start on a tow but won't start on the starter. I've primed the lift pump ( there sounds to be air from back of pump as I prime ) and traces of diesel at primer. She smokes when I turn her but won't fire. The starter seems fine and she turns over well. Throttle is open a...

Hi Wayne,
Sorry - just saw your message.
I bought a pretty rough but mechanically sound one for 700. I probably should have held out for a better one for a bit more. I really wanted one with the Ursus front axle and a good cab with all the glass and working brakes but couldn't wait of course...
Hi All,
I have bought an old 1976 Zetor 8011 to use as a working restoration. There were a few here in Norfolk.
It's a bit tired as it was used with a loader. No brakes but handbrake works (no brake fluid reservoir either)
I've bought a full set of wings ( although original right side is...
