    7745 BRAKES

I've got a 7745 with brake issues, possibly the compensator is stuck, so I thought I'd append to this thread where the compensator's function is explained. Right brake pedal is firm and I bled it no problem. It activates the right brake. Left brake pedal is spongy and never builds pressure...

    Zetor 7745 clutch issues

I installed the new clutch master cylinder yesterday and it's working much better, though gears still grind sometimes if don't I bring RPMs down to low idle when shifting. I push the clutch pedal 1/2" and it visibly starts to actuate the slave piston; fully depressed the slave piston now moves...

    Zetor Manuals - Electronic Library.

Some English parts and op manuals and a foreign language workshop manual are available for easy download here: http://libertyca.net/zetor/ I'm still looking for the workshop manual for my 7745.

    Zetor 7745 clutch issues

Thanks for the replies. Over Christmas holidays I visually inspected the buttress caps from the inspection port and as far as I can see they're all in one piece. I agree that the intermittent performance and odd clutch travel points to the master cylinder. I'm planning to order a master...

question Zetor 3340 clutch or reverser problem

My 7745 has similar problems. I can get the clutch to disengage enough to shift by pressing pedal a few times and/or by reducing RPM to about 900. I read that the slave cylinder piston should move at least 1/2" - I suspect I need to replace or rebuild the slave cylinder as mine actuates 3/8".

    Hydraulics

If your machine is in fact stuck in two gears, there's an updated Zetor part ("shift lock" as the dealer named it, or "device body" in the parts manual ) which can be replaced to prevent this problem. My dealer wanted $130 for it so I figured I'll wait till I have a problem before buying and...

    Zetor 7745 clutch issues

Thanks. I'll inspect the buttress caps next chance (machine is 100mi away). But all 3 fingers were moving approx the same 1/16". Is it likely that all 3 caps would be broken at once? while searching the treads about buttress caps I saw that 1/2" is the minimum slave piston movement. So...

    8045 backwards 4wd

what you describe is how my 7745 works. But according to this thread the 8045 pulls a knob up to engage 4wd. https://zetorworld.com/index.php?threads/8045-how-to-engage-4wd.1795/ Perhaps your linkage is modified. Can you see it below the cab floor?

    Zetor 7745 clutch issues

Hello, Recently bought my first Zetor; with some help from my local farm shop I fixed the coolant leak from Cyl #3 cylinder sleeve o-rings. now I'm looking to make the clutch disengage reliably. Generally it works, but the gears grind unless you shift at < 1000rpm and sometimes you have to...

    Zetor Manuals - Electronic Library.

Thanks for that link Bjarne. I was able to find the parts manual after navigating the German site and creating a login. Still trying to find a service manual. Is there a place on this site where the English manuals could be collected (or linked) for easy download and reference?

    Zetor Manuals - Electronic Library.

It's been 12 years since this thread was started. Is there any reason why PDF versions of all the older manuals are not freely available online? They must be public domain by now? Though apparently every download site is trying to sell the pdf for $30USD or more. So far I found only the...
