I wired it directly to keyed fuse block (only turns on when key is inserted) cut the suction hose from fuel tank on left side of tractor, hung the pump on water bag bracket, bypassed the mechanical fuel pump, then ran directly to the fuel filters.

I love my 6245. As stated before only problems are clutch and brake slaves. I also bypassed mechanical fuel pump with electric fuel pump. No more priming and no power fade due to lack of fuel.
Hey guys, I need a part number for the seal around the shaft coming from tranny just before universal joint. Hydraulic fluid is pouring out around driveshaft. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Grego
i agree with dave, just fit external pump and bypass mech pump and bowl. i fitted mine where waterbag goes. i used a dodge ram diesel pump i had lying around shop. works great!
I would recommend going ahead and changing fuel lines and clamps first. Not expensive and definitely eliminates fuel line pin holes that arent readily obvious to the naked eye. If budget allows install aftermarket electric fuel pump. eliminates pin hole leaks in mech fuel pump. Third...
